Pisces is a dreamer - gentle, impressionable, and receptive. They experience their imagination, feelings, and intuition as part of a real world. Often they have difficulty verbalizing or interpreting this personal world for others. They may seem outwardly quiet and unassuming, but usually they have a rich, colorful inner life. Theirs is the realm of the mystical, emotional, artistic, and musical.

Pisces has great sensitivity and can immediately empathize with others. They respond very strongly to beauty and to love. They often sense things psychically or intuitively that prove to be right. They are usually tolerant, forgiving, and nonjudgmental, accepting other people unconditionally. They have deep compassion for the suffering of any creature and often feel others' pain as their own. They understand and care about less fortunate people.

Pisces is capable of giving selflessly, living a life of devoted and compassionate service to others. However, they tend to give indiscriminately, letting others take advantage of their generosity and kindness. This encourages weaker folks to stay needy and dependent.

Pisces has little sense of boundaries. It's hard for them to know when to say "no". Moderation and self-discipline are not their strengths. They can even become physically ill if they encounter too much negative energy.

They are a lover and peacemaker rather than a fighter. They try to avoid all conflict at all costs. They will patiently ignore or tune out problems, hoping the issues will disappear on their own. They tend to lack the positive fighting attitude sometimes needed to overcome challenges. They are fluid, open, nonresistant, and somewhat passive. They do things in a subtle, often hidden, way.

Their faults include two tendencies: 1) to be lazy and careless and 2) to wallow in self-pity rather than take strong, focused action to better their life. They also tend to become so detached from their immediate environment that they live in a chaotic mess, though this probably bothers those around them more than it bothers them.

Pisces are natural poets, artists, and actors. Music and the creative arts provide a safe, structured environment for them. They do well in professions such as graphic design and photojournalism. They also excel in healing professions such as nursing, social work, physical therapy, and veterinary medicine. They also have a spiritual tendency, with or without formal religious teaching. Their intuitive and spiritual qualities can lead them into careers in religion or to offering services as medium or spiritual counselors.

Many Pisces can be found in law enforcement and the judicial system. Still others are creative cooks and chefs. Because of their versatility and flexibility, they may experience multiple vocations during their lifetime.

Pisces, the Fish, loves water and thrives in working environments near the ocean. Their creative juices flow much better when they can set their own schedule and work for themselves, by themselves.
